Golf Pro – Luke O’Carrigan is here to make sure enjoyment is had by all.

What made you pursue a career in golf?
My ex local pro Joe Moore saw my potential on the course and how I was around other members. Plus my passion for the game
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
I really enjoy seeing my students succeed with their games and goals within their golfing journey.
Favourite achievement as a Golf Pro?
Prequalifying for the NSW golf open at twin creeks in 2017
Lowest round as a pro and where?
I have two low rounds. One at Richmond golf club and one at Springwood golf club – both or 8 under.
Favourite Golf Course?
Played is The Australian not played is Augusta national.
Favourite Golfer to watch and why?
The big Easy (Ernie Els) because of his on and off course achievements and the way he has a no fuss attitude with his game.
Favourite golfing moment.
My favourite golfing moment/s – professionally, watching tiger woods win the masters in 2018 with his kids there to see it. Personally – getting to caddie for my uncle when he won the Springwood golf club c grade championship 2 years in a row.
Favourite sport outside of golf and sporting team or player?
I am a sports fanatic I love them all cricket, rugby league, rugby union, soccer, netball, basketball and Darts  Favourite players from each – Merv Hughes, Terry Lamb, Matt Dunning, Peter Schmichael, Maddy Proud, Pat Mills and Peter Wright.

Best piece of golfing advice you can give?
We are here for fun, so relax and enjoy if you’re not in the right head space don’t play as it will only magnify in your golfing.
